Corollae Coruscante

A photo taken at Lyndale Park Gardens on the northeast shore of Lake Harriet in Minneapolis, MN. To isolate the petals, the already deeply-shadowed area under the blossom was burned to near-black during processing. It’s also a natural example of the expanding flower illusion.
